Possible Break-in Attempt Reported

A Baywood resident in Phase 2 reported a possible break-in attempt between 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM today. State police were contacted and a report was taken.
 
Please always be alert to activity in the neighborhood, and remember that Baywood Security should be alerted about any unusual behavior at 302.945.1029.

The Summer, 2009, issue of the Blue Heron is now available for viewing and download on the Documents page. (Login is required and is available to BHA members only).
 
An email has also been circulated to all BHA members with a link to the document that you can copy and paste into your browser and that does not require login. If you're a member and you did not see the email, please let us know (we're using a new mail system for this distribution).
 
Updated Golf Promotion at Baywood

Mark Coty, general manager of Baywood Greens, has announced the availability of new rates of interest for Baywood residents.
  • Baywood residents and their guests can play for $45 any Monday through Thursday after 12:00pm. Same day registration only (no advance tee times are allowed)
  • The Sussex County rate has been reduced to $55, all day Monday through Thursday.  Same-day or next-day reservations only (rate applies only to Sussex County residents and not their guests). The regular Sussex County rate of $75 remains in effect Friday through Sunday (same restrictions).
  • Rates are expected to be available through the end of August, but may be discontinued at the discretion of Baywood Greens

BHA Election Results

The Nominating Committee has reported final results in this year's election. Elected as Vice President is Mike Seitz; re-elected as treasurer is Gene Meredith; and elected as Phase representatives are Helen Bartus (Phase 1) and Ruth Pryor (Phase 3).
 
The BHA membership expresses its thanks and appreciation to outgoing Board members Alan Cropper, George Wiker, and Harry Marshall for their service, as well as to members of the Nominating Committee for conducting this year's election.
