Security Alert in Baywood

Many folks heard the commotion of a police helicopter in the sky last night over Baywood. This is what was reported to us from Baywood security, as communicated by BHA Secretary Nancy Cullen:
There were a couple of cars broken into on Cleek Way in Phase 3 last night. A police helicopter circled the area with search lights for about 30 - 40 minutes, and several state police were present to investigate.
Additionally, it has been reported (unconfirmed) that the refreshment cart attendant was robbed earlier this week while near hole 6, immediately adjacent to Banks Road.
These incidents serve as a good reminder that we all need to keep our vehicles locked at night (at all times really), with all valuables removed. Also, contact Baywood Security immediately anytime you see or hear anything suspicious at 945-1029.
Cruzer's Concert On Labor Day, September 6

Baywood Greens continues its Summer Concert Series in the Wedding Garden with The Cruzers on Labor Day, September 6, from 5:30 to 8:00 PM. This event is free and open to the public. Hotdogs and hamburgers will be available at an outdoor BBQ.
Baywood Greens Clubhouse Updates

The following news items and promotions have been updated for us by the Clubhouse.
- The August Calendar
- The September Calendar
- Sunday Brunch will continue on Sundays even past Labor Day Weekend. The Clubhouse management is hopeful this weekly event will maintain its active following, and will continue to offer Sunday Brunch as interest dictates.
- Friday Getaway Happy Hour, with verandah entertainment from 4:00 to 6:30, and continuing entertainment in the lounge from 7:00 until 10:00.
- Drive and Dine: Sunday – Thursday afternoons between 12:00 – 2:30, play 18 holes of spectacular golf and enjoy dinner in the Baywood Clubhouse Restaurant for only $85 (except holiday weekends).
- Nine and Dine: Monday, Thursday and Sunday afternoons after 2:30, play nine holes of golf and enjoy dinner in the Baywood Clubhouse Restaurant for only $55.
Informal Friday Happy Hours at the Community Center

With the pool open late Friday evenings this summer, those looking for a quieter, more relaxed Happy Hour are invited to join their fellow residents on the Community Center patio after 5:00 PM. This informal activity is intended to complement, not compete with, the Clubhouse happy hour on the veranda.
Bring your own drinks and snacks and join your friends and neighbors for an evening of food, drink and conversation...plus the pool.

Monday, September 6th, 8:00 AM Shotgun Start at Baywood Greens Golf Course
This tournament will be hosted by the Pro Shop under the direction of head pro Anthony Hollerback. Entry fee of $100/person includes food and prizes. Entry forms are available at the Pro Shop and must be received by Wednesday, September 1.
