Bible Study
 
Meets on most Fridays, beginning at 10 AM.  New members welcome.  Contact Sue Eldredge (Free Drop Way).
 
Book Club
 
The Ladies' Book Club has a strong group approaching 20 members and meets once a month.  Meetings are on the second Wednesday of the month at 7:00 PM and members take turns hostessing or facilitating.  Titles so far in 2008 include The Poisonwood Bible, One Thousand White Women, and Atonement.  Contact Caryl Cunningham (Cleek Way).
 
Card Night
 
At the Community Center every Monday, 7:00 PM-10:00 PM.  Contact Tony Aglio (Long Spoon)
 
Community Center (Pool, Children's Playground, Exercise Room, and more)
 
Located on Green's Way, half-way between the Clubhouse and the Route 23 entrance, adjacent to the second hole. See the FAQ for more detail on the amenities available at the Community Center and the large number of activities that are conducted there, as well as pool hours (in season).
 
Dance Aerobics
 
Women's Spring (2009) Aerobics are now in session, with classes almost every Tuesday and Thursday. The cost is $50.00 per person for the session. You may also pay at a drop-in rate of $5.00 per class. Contact Joyce Staub (Cleek Way) for more information. 
 
 
Marty & Joyce Staub (Cleek Way) coordinate this organization which facilitates community activities ranging from monthly Ladies's luncheons and trips to Atlantic City casinos and the DelMarVa Shorebirds games in Salisbury to this year's first-ever community-wide progressive dinner.
 
FAB requires no membership fees ... only the generosity and willingness of Baywood residents to contribute to and enjoy its FABulous series of events.  Learn more about FAB ...
 
Golf
  • The Men's Golf League plays almost every Wednesday afternoon at Baywood Greens from April through October.  League membership is $75 for the year, and greens fees each week are $35 or less.  A Fall and Winter League continues from November to March at several local courses, with days varying each week. Ed Benz (Putter's Dell) and Tony Aglio (Long Spoon Way) coordinate these activities.
  • The Women's Golf League plays Tuesday afternoons at Baywood Greens from late April through mid October. Kathie Meredith (Free Drop Way) coordinates this activity.
  • There are as many as five special tournaments each year involving members of the mens' and womens' golf leagues, including tournaments around Memorial Day and Labor Day.  All will be announced on the Events page as soon as their schedule and format become available.
ScrapBooking
 
At the Community Center on the fourth Thursday of several months during the Fall, Winter, and early Spring (except for the Christmas/New Year's week). Contact Dianne Keough (Crooked Stick Way).
