Update: Neighbors Helping Neighbors
Posted on Sep 17th, 2024
Update as of September 17
Neighbors Helping Neighbors is a Baywood Homeowners Association sponsored program created to foster a sense of community by connecting neighbors who are willing to help others with various nominal tasks around their homes. The goal is to create a supportive network willing to help community members with small, everyday tasks.
Tasks might include:
- Changing ceiling light bulbs / air filters
- Changing smoke detector batteries
- Helping with heavy packages
- Assisting with trash/yard waste cans
- Basic local transportation needs (grocery shopping / doctor's appointments)
- Pet walking
- Computer/tech assistance
- Similar tasks
The scope of work will be limited to nominal tasks that assist a neighbor in need or might be difficult or unsafe for a community resident to perform (eg. standing on a ladder).
The program is now available to all residents. Visit the Neigbors Helping Neighbors page to learn more.
If you are interested in assisting our neighbors, please email BHA Vice President Steve Maconi at 443.562.9828 or steve.oceantechnology@gmail.com with your name, contact information, availability and types of tasks with which you are willing to assist.
Steve Maconi,
BHA Vice President
