Additional Information:
BHA Background Information:
The BHA is here to serve you! In 2003, the BHA was formed as a nonprofit organization whose members form guidelines for the promotion of civic and social activities, environmental concerns and legislative matters unique to our neighborhood. Unlike most homeowners associations, the BHA does not oversee issues such as our neighbors land use or the adherence to neighborhood rules—that is the responsibility of the Tunnell Companies’ Management. However, the BHA members are encouraged to share concerns and constructive ideas to the BHA Board to help maintain and improve the quality of life in our Baywood community.
BHA Activities:
The BHA offers a wide variety of clubs and activities for Members to participate throughout the year. There is something for everyone! Examples of these are:
July 4th Golf Cart Parade
Water Aerobics
Monthly Pot Luck Dinners
Book Club
Annual Christmas Dinner Dance
Easter Egg Hunt
Ghost Hunt
Memorial Day Scavenger Hunt
Canasta
Mahjong
Pinochle
Poker
Bridge
Pop Up Parties on the Beach
Allocation of BHA Dues:
Your BHA dues keep the BHA running! BHA Dues are used to supplement the cost of activities such as the Annual Easter Egg Hunt and the Christmas Dinner Dance. The dues also pay for the ongoing expenses including postage, printing (annual Resident Directories, Welcome Brochure, Golf Cart Guidelines, etc.), and web maintenance expenses. The BHA Treasury Reports are posted on the BHA website.
