Baywood Greens Clubhouse Announces 2012 Schedule

I wanted to reach out to the residents and highlight some changes that are about to happen in the Baywood Clubhouse Restaurant.  I’d like to address a few of those changes in this email and also illustrate them in a document that is attached to this email
 
First, we have realized that we need to be open seven days a week so that we can be of service to the Baywood Residents.   Second, we have decided to offer some specials and incentives to make us more attractive.  Lastly, we want our restaurant to feel like a very comfortable place for our guests to gather.
 
Beginning March 18th, the restaurant will be open seven days a week.  We will keep that schedule until November, and then we will close on Mondays.   So, from November 1, 2012 – April 1, 2013, we will only be closed on Mondays.  We have come to understand the importance of being open and not changing our schedule year to year; we want to build consistency and we are 100% committed to this schedule.
 
We have decided to offer specials on every weeknight.  Here are the specials and they are subject to change:
 
• Sunday – Home Cooking Night
• Monday – Burger Night
• Tuesday -  Pasta & Flatbread Night
• Wednesday – Prime Rib Night
• Thursday – Fajitas & Margaritas
• Friday – Trivia Night with Happy Hour pricing all night (in the lounge)
 
On Sunday – Wednesday (in the off-season), we will only serve dinner & lite fare in the lounge and the library (and verandah, weather permitting).   The dining room will be closed.  This will allow us, for the most part, to run with a smaller staff, mostly salaried labor.  For instance, we will try to operate with a manager, bartender, and one server.  We are hoping that we can do this without a hostess.  The kitchen will also operate with a small staff, mostly salaried managers.  Our hope is to give the lounge a very cozy, tavern type feel.    If we are busier than expected, then we will open the dining room.
 
I have attached an overview of what this year will look like (Hours & Specials).  We are still considering more changes like bringing back the Friday Getaway with entertainment and happy hour pricing on the verandah.  I kindly ask all of you to share your thoughts with Reinie, Brenden, and myself.  We need your feedback, good and bad.  It will be very important for us to hear from you.  Thank you!!
 
Just a quick note, our spring menu will launch on April 1st.
