The COVID-19 disease remains a significant threat to public safety, and the State of Delaware is now in its Phase 2 Reopening plan (in effect since June 15). We have relocated basic information and important links to our COVID-19 Information page.
  • Effective June 26, Delaware will delay entering the next phase of its reopening plan. Governor Carney explained that "Too many Delawareans and visitors are not following basic public health precautions. We’ve heard and seen concerns especially in our beach communities, in restaurants, in gyms, and at sporting events. Now’s not the time to let up. You’re required to wear a mask in public settings. Keep your distance from those outside your household. These are common sense steps that, frankly, are not that difficult to follow. And they’re a small price to pay for keeping our friends and relatives out of the hospital." You can track the Governor's Reopening information here.

Updated Guidelines for the Community Center
Posted on Jul 2nd, 2020
Updated public safety guidelines were again circulated to residents on July 2 regarding use of the Pool and (new) the Community Center for inside gatherings (group meetings, use of the exercise area).  The earlier 90 minutes in-the-pool, 30 minutes out-of-the-pool protocol is now back in force.  Pool and Community Center operating hours remain 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
2020 Resident Directory in Circulation
Posted on Jun 26th, 2020
The 2020 annual, printed Resident Directory is now entering circulation via the Phase Representatives.
This year's edition is a 49-page publication of "must have" directory and advertiser information.  In addition to an alphabetical listing of residents and a cross-reference of lot to residents, you will find advertising copy for many local merchants and service providers who look forward to meeting your business needs.
BHA members receive the directory as a benefit of membership.  Non-member residents (and BHA members who request an additional copy) may obtain a copy for a fee by contacting their Phase Representative.
Website Privileges Updated
Posted on Jun 15th, 2020
As of June 15, access privileges on the website were updated and synched against the current, paid membership listing.
  • BHA members who have not yet renewed their dues for 2020 lost access to the Members section of the website (BHA Documents, Elections, Photo Album, and the on-line Resident Directory pages).  Approximately 16 current BHA member households were affected.
If you can't access the Members pages of the website and cannot remember whether you've paid your dues or not, visit your Profile page.  Click on the "Update Profile" link and scroll down to the item marked "Member Until."  A paid membership will show the date "2021-04-25" (or later in some cases).
Please contact the Membership Committee with any questions about dues payments.
